The deadline date for this submission call was July 18, 2008. Will there be a new submission call up on the site soon? Thanks.
Tracey -- Too late to help now, sorry, but I had a story published in the anthology "Dorm Porn II" a couple of years ago and the pay rate for that was $50, no royalties. It's probably the same or similar for every anthology.

I had a previous submission accepted for the “2009 Lesbian Love Story Anthology”. I submitted two additional shorts for the “2009 Lesbian Erotica Anthology” before the deadline. I didn't realize until after I submitted them that the word count on both were roughly 2400 words. Not the 3000 to 4000 word guideline they requested. Will that automatically disqualify my entries from consideration? Also, would I be notified of a disqualification and/or would I be notified if they are not interested at all in the submission?

When we be hearing if our story has been accepted or not?

Hi,
Do you let people know whether they are accepted for publication or denied for publication? I submitted a short story for the best Lesbian Love stories anthology and for the best Lesbian Erotica anthology and I haven't heard about either. Would a notification be sent if a story wasn't accepted?
Thank you,
Kelly

When will all the stories for the ultimate lesbian erotica or gay erotica be choosen.
Is it true that if anything that suggest other than rigid lesbian/gay identities get exculded from the stories? Seems like it.

Yes, they do notify you if your short has been selected. I found out 2 months to the day after the deadline date of "2009 Lesbian Love Stories". I don't know if they notify you if your story has not been selected. It's been 2+ months since the deadline date for "2009 Lesbian Erotica" & still no word either way. :(

I'm trying to send a submission and inquiry to Alyson in regards to my first book but the email address listed on the submissions page keeps bouncing back.
Any advice?
